What TikTok data we access

After a user authorizes their own TikTok account, Banginbox may access limited TikTok data needed to provide the comment inbox and video performance dashboard.

Data category	Purpose
Authorized account information	To identify the connected account and display connection status.
Video list and video metadata	To show the user's own published videos inside the dashboard.
Video performance metrics	To display views, likes, comments, shares, and engagement summaries.
Public comments under the user's videos	To provide a comment inbox for review and manual reply workflows.
Access tokens and authorization data	To securely maintain the user's authorized TikTok connection.

Why we use TikTok data

TikTok data is used to help the account owner understand how their own videos are performing, monitor audience comments, and manually manage comment replies from one organized workspace.

How data is displayed

Banginbox displays authorized TikTok data inside private workspace pages, including the dashboard, comment inbox, video list, video detail page, and reports page.

Data storage

Banginbox may store limited authorized account data, access tokens, video metadata, comment data, and performance metrics only as needed to provide the dashboard service and maintain the account connection.

User control and deletion

Users can disconnect their TikTok account through the integration settings page. Users can also request deletion of TikTok-related data through the data deletion page or by contacting support.

Responsible use commitments

• We do not scrape TikTok.
• We do not access data from accounts that have not authorized the app.
• We do not sell TikTok data.
• We do not use TikTok data for automated spam, bulk messaging, automatic engagement, or unauthorized profiling.
• Comment replies are intended to be reviewed and sent manually by the account owner or authorized team members.
